An easy way to see what your page looks like with different browser sizes. Enter your URL and you’ll be able to see the site with an overlay that shows what is visible in various sizes (does not work with frames and centered pages)

Based on the research of the Norman/Nielsen Group. Predicting where on a page the user’s attention will be focused (horizontally speaking).

Clicktale – Mouse move heatmaps (cheap)
Clicktale have several tools for what they call “Customer Experience Analytics.” The most interesting tool is their “Mouse move heat map” one. They record how users move the mouse on a page. They argue that the mouse movement has a 80% correlation with eye movements. The result is a kind of simplified eyetracking study, at a much lower price.
